Connectivity between ARIS and ESR Server

Hi everybody,

Does somebody already work with ARIS and ESR?

I'm trying to connect with ESR server, so I don't know which user I have to use to authenticate in ESR server and where I can get this info?

Hi,

you need to be able to logon to ESR first.

So if you have a valid user for ESR you can use the same user to logon from Aris to an ESR server.

I already a valid user for ESR, so I can't use on ARIS to connect with ESR.

But I change the port number 50000 to 50004 and I have successful on connection. Now I need to know about filter (next step after login), because the dialog box is empty. Do you have any ideia?

which version of ESR do you use?

You need at least SAP NW CE Or PI 7.11.

Hi Tiago,

one precondition for the usage of any modeling functionality in ESR is that the most actual SAP Basis Software Component Version is available on the ESR server. So after you have logged on to ESR pls check if the Software Component Version SAP Basis 7.11 is available. If not pls contact your system responsible or check the service market place.

In the SAP Basis a special usage profile and a filter for connect Aris to ESR are included.
