Oracle BPA with ARIS Server

Hello all,

We already have ARIS business Server & Architect (Version 7.1 .. Now I have downloaded OBPA version 11 from Oracle Site. I m trying to connect Oracle Business Process Architect with our ARIS business Server. But i m getting the error that ur Server do not allow connection to ur Client. As per my understanding with this new version of OBPA it should able to connect with ARIS Server. Could any one help me plzz

As I've understood all clients licenses (as Designer, Architect) are prescribed at ARIS Business Server, so even if you have licenses of ARIS BA for another client (company) it is impossible to connect to your Business server. With Oracle it is the same case, IMHO

so if we buy OBPA license as we have bought for ARIS. than we can connect OBPA with ARIS Business Server. Plz correct me if i m wrong

Hello Rupesh,

these are different products.

If you want to use them together, you need an additional product; BPA Upsell or ARIS BPA enrichment.

So Rupesh could you please confirm if you were able to run Oracle Business Process Architect with ARIS Business Architect. could you throw some light on how you did the integration? and which ARIS models (EPC, FAD etc) did you exhcange with OBPM?
