New JCo for SAP related products - Important information for all existing ARIS for SAP and BI Modeler customers

Dear ARIS for SAP / BI Modeler Users!

We want to notify you herewith of an important change regarding SAP JCo in ARIS for SAP and ARIS BI Modeler. If you are using one of these products, please read this information carefully.

The current supported SAP connector JCO 2.x will be desupported by SAP AG in 2012. Starting with the upcoming ARIS 7.2 SR 2 all users have to install SAP JCo 3.0.7 or a higher version of SAP JCo 3.0.x in order to connect with the SAP systems and use all related functionalities - Solution Manager synchronization, start SAP transactions, show Solution Manager business blueprint, BI Modeler redocumentation ...

The latest SAP JCo connector can be downloaded from the SAP Service Marketplace (SAP Service Marketplace).

Attached you can find the installation procedures depending on your environment.
